The microprocessor-controlled Keyboard Tester Minitast facilitates and compares function tests on* Versatile testing
* Easy to operate
* Easily adaptable to any kind of keyboard
* 16 connections in any I/O configuration
* Quick and easy to program
* Self-learn mode
* Operating mode indicator
* Adjustable contact loop resistance threshold
Applications:
Keyboards with up to 16 connections in any I/O configuration
can be connected to the Minitast.
Several universal connector modules for different keyboard
connections are available.
Operating Modes:
The standard testprobe allows easy testing of the keyboard
parameters such as contact make/break,
short circuit and contact loop resistance. The operating
force can be varied by changing of the
internal spring. The contact loop resistance threshold
is adjustable from 10 Ohm to 20 kOhm.
Pass/fail information and type of failure for each key
tested are displayed in three LED´s. There are
two red ´fail´ LED´s indicating an
open or short circuit; each key passed is verified by a green LED
and an acoustic signal.
Keyboards with up to 16 connection lines can be tested
in one test cycle. programming is easily
accomplished using the standard test probe along with
a known good keyboard. During programming
of the test cycle the key operation will be tested and
the correct I/O connection automatically identified
snd stored. Testing of keyboards is now easily accomplished
following the same key sequence as used
during programming.
